We all need a break every once in a while and it’s not always possible to head off for sand, sea and sun. Just getting away from your daily routine for even a few hours can make all the difference, that’s why we have included some places to go for a day out or even an afternoon out. Many of the places we have included are free or offer discounts to some people.

We are really lucky that there are so many places to visit near us so its definitely worthwhile making the most of the museums, gardens and other attractions. Many of them are accessible but it is always a good idea to give them a call to make sure that they can offer you the right facilities and cater for your individual needs.
